I have done the ½ day St. Vrain trip twice with The River’s Path. Each time was a great experience. Lauren is an excellent teacher and guide, and she has great stories to share. We saw so many birds and turtles in this beautiful, scenic environment. Even through the river conditions differed widely on each trip, I felt safe with Lauren as a guide. Highly recommended!

We had a delightful half-day float on the St. Vrain River with Lauren Bond. It was a hot day (nearly 100 degrees), but we stayed cool on the water. Lauren was the perfect guide: personable, knowledgeable, and conscientious. She gave a complete safety review and basic paddling instructions before we set out. Then during the trip, she gave us a “heads up” about what was coming next on the river, and kept a close eye on our two canoes in case anyone got into a risky situation. What a great trip! Lauren and Gray were excellent guides and taught us some great techniques for canoeing on moving water. The St. Vrain offered an excellent learning opportunity for those of us accustomed to flat water. We were able to see some wildlife and have the unique experience of "floating" the river.
What a fun day! I especially appreciated how Lauren coached us to improve our paddling skills. Also got a really good look at eagles!
