River Dog is a great place to stop when heading for Linville Falls, Grandfather Mountain, or just driving through the region. The food is fresh and tastes great, with a very nice menu selection. The coffee is awesome. They have several flavors of Italian gelato. Worth the stop on your way to somewhere.
