The hotel is beautiful and opulent, but the hotel's elegance doesn't match the surrounding area. The Canal and Bourbon Street area is seedy. This hotel would be better situated in the Garden District, or somewhere that is less of a tourist trap, near museums or better restaurants. Top tier hotel. I mean, I already know ew the RITZ was an experience, but NOLA Ritz Out did themselves. The service was IMPECCABLE. From the doorman, to the front desk, to the lounge staff. Exquisite . I will return promptly and will not stay anywhere else. I usually stay at the WINDSOR COURT, and though it is a wonderful hotel with great staff, nothing in my estimation can beat THE RITZ now. I have to mention Taj at the front desk. Slightly dated rooms, but level of service from the staff was impressive. All employees we dealt with were lovely. Would highly recommend. Location is also excellent.
The spa is incredible. The Davenport Lounge is a great place to get work done and enjoy a cocktail with Andrew and the other staff members. Would definitely take visitors and business partners to enjoy the evening at this property!
