This was my first vacation to Maui with my family. For the past few years, I’ve been to Mexico, visiting Puerto Vallarta, Cabo, and Cancun, always staying at the Gaza Blanco resort. It’s consistently ranked among the top resorts. When I arrived, the power was out on most of the island due to a tropical storm. We stayed in a 2BR residence villa in early August. The villa was nice and spacious. Comfortable beds. Nice kitchen, but small fridge, which seemed odd. The bathrooms are crying for a refresh. I was hoping for a nice bathtub, but it was not good. No ventilation in the room and as a result the room smelled musty and damp. Service was great. The staff is friendly and kind.They were very accommodating to my kids. I would recommend the luau. It's expensive but a good value. Une très belle enveloppe, un service catastrophique Séjour actuellement en cours au Ritz-Carlton Kapalua, et malheureusement l’expérience est très loin du niveau attendu pour cet établissement. Dès l’arrivée, changement de chambre car la baignoire n’était pas propre (poils constatés). Une fois relogés, attente d’une heure pour récupérer nos valises.
