Not a person to complain but: Tough getting hot water in shower every day. Pool was closed for half our stay for Reno. Listened to jackhammer renovating next to tidewater grill whole time we dined. Food was good but not when measured against what we were charged.
Honestly, this is a review out of season and it was only 1 night. But for the amount of money for the room charge, it is an old Hyatt feeling room. The hotel just seems old. I do think the inside shops are nice. The food was good. I guess it is more about value. I've been in many Ritz, Kempinski, Mandarin, Regis, etc etc.....this was just the most disappointing especially for price. I guess I am not rich enough for $800 standard hotel rooms. I just don't think I will be back.
I just had another absolutely marvelous experience at the Ritz Carlton Amelia Island Spa. I went to celebrate my birthday and if I could give six stars out of five, I would. The staff went above and beyond to make me feel special, and they sure succeeded. I splurged to get a massage with Amber, and her skills and focus left me craving more. She elevated the experience with a special CBD oil upgrade and 10/10 would recommend. The Ritz-Carlton, Amelia Island is a total dream! From the beautiful golf course to the pristine beaches, everything was perfect. We visited during sea turtle season, and it was so special to see the nests being protected on the sand—a must-see for nature lovers! The pool area has a great vibe, and we really enjoyed the Mexican-inspired menu while lounging in the sun. For a fancy night out, the 5-star dining was absolutely incredible! You get what you pay for! Excellent Service! What a 5-star team!!! From Front Desk Receptionist Deandra whose expertise Shines, to our exquisite accommodations maintained by Housekeeper Nilda, who paid attention to every detail, to the Excellent Cuisine and Servers in the Ballroom managed by the Honorable Bobby Armstrong to the Brilliant decor inside and outside. The Ritz-Carlton, Amelia Island, is a beautifully well oiled machine. Come and be blessed with perfection
