The last few times I was here as a day guest the service was so great! Even they charged my car at no cost to me and make my day feel so special! It is truly special here and the service is top quality. Even though they couldn’t charge my car this time without charging $40 I know they are good service team with the valet and the spa and the guest services.
We recently stayed at The Ritz-Carlton Amelia Island and overall had a lovely experience, though a few service issues stood out. Upon arrival, our room wasn’t ready—completely understandable—but when we did enter, we found a bottle of champagne, hours-old food, and a note addressed to other guests. As non-drinkers, this made us uncomfortable. We called to have it removed, but after several hours and a second call (plus an in-person follow-up at the front desk), it still hadn’t been addressed. Private professional caring facility. Highly recommend.
The service and amenities do not justify cost. For the price, the food is subpar. I can't believe the 5 star price and 2.5 star cuisine. This place can't compare to the Ritz down south. Not many fun activities for adults.
