The managers, Crystal Yazzie and Nick Griego, are incredibly helpful and supportive. I’m truly grateful that my loved one is being cared for at this facility it brings me peace of mind knowing she is in such good hands. I highly recommend The Rio Grande to anyone seeking quality care for their family member.
It's a well kept property. Disappointed that Gary and Gina left - they were really a part of the community and very nice people. Had good experiences with the assistant managers (Scott and spouse)
Great staff
A friend of mine invited me to have lunch with her. I wasn't expecting to have how your staff treated the people that lived there. From the very friendly, very professional house maid, to the chef. Everyone was so respectful, and nice. They treated me as well as them. I didn't know how to act in dinning room, was like I was eating at a four star restaurant. All the wait staff was as good or better that any place in town.. I knew my friend was in good hands. Thank you all again... p.s my friend has no complaints!
The Rio is a truly excellent retirement community. The building is well decorated and maintained, light and airy (a major renovation was done in 2024). Management lives here, available 24/7. They are alert and caring. Activities are ongoing; attend or not, as you like. The grounds around the building are superb, including A Park Above, a huge and happy place.
