The medical centre refused to see my toddler until he was able to produce a negative rat test, we were only informed of this when we attended for the appointment. We should have been advised prior to the appointment of this. Also, if he did test positive does this mean that he then would have been refused medical treatment? I have never experienced this for my baby when fevers and other bugs from daycare are very common and many other doctors have seen him straight away. Edit - Must have hit a nerve with the response below. Very dull and depressing medical centre. Reception staff could do with some training to better their customer service skills and the walls could do with some colour.
