We went the non traditional route and did cookies for our wedding. We got trays of cookies and gluten free desserts from the Rhu and they were a huge hit! People were very complimentary of the options. The chocolate chip cookies are the best I’ve had and the gluten free options went so fast because the gluten eating folk were taking them!
Excellent sandwich and vibe
I’ve been a regular at Rhu since my first visit because my initial experiences were outstanding. The coffee is great, and I really want to keep supporting this place. Unfortunately, my last two visits have been disappointing due to repeated order mix-ups. On one visit, I specifically asked for my coffee to stay in the cafe, but it was made in a to-go cup even after confirming my order twice. Had been a few times when in town previously, so knew that the quality of the food and drinks was outstanding, this trip being no different. Included with their normal menu is a wide array of baked goods, seemingly rotating, that are available in a display at the register. That is where I found several pastries to get for my family and enjoy with the coffee. We got the Ham and Cheese Bear Claw, Benton's Biscuit, Peach Danish, Blackberry tart. Their biscuits are seriously the best - big and delicious!! Went for a late breakfast and both the biscuit sandwich and biscuits & gravy were delicious!! They were so good that we got some to go as well!
