The shuttle is annoying, it is so small and gets full so easily, people get late to class because of that it’s annoying like get ANOTHER one! They are not clear in communicating with their residents about anything pertaining the lease and they always add some unnecessary additional fees which sometimes they give no choice but to pay. I regret moving into The Retreat. The apartment I received was extremely dirty and dusty everywhere, with a weird smell and clear signs that it was not properly cleaned before move-in. The oven and microwave are filthy, and the place overall feels old, neglected, and unhealthy — I even noticed signs of mold and dirt. What makes it worse is that I feel scammed by the photos on their website, which look nothing like the reality. I cannot believe I’m paying $600 for this condition. This place is not worth the money. In addition to the unreasonably steep penalty charges, they also impose an extra fee even when you make your regular payments with direct bank deposit on time. That’s absurd.
