I would give the company a 0 if I could. I ordered two items from Home Depot and 1 was damages upon delivery. I refused delivery and was told by by Home Depot that it would be returned and I would get a refund. I was sent an email by Retail Equation and told that based on my account transaction my return was denied. I called and was told to request a copy of my transaction history. Our family will stop shopping at Kohl's after they refused to accept a return (with receipt, tags on and inside 30 days) and directed us to contact The Retail Equation. While this practice is legal, it will not end well for either company. #BadCustomerService, #KohlsSucks, #TheRetailEquationScam
If I could give this company a minus zero I would! I was told to call this company from DSW regarding a declined return that I attempted to make on 8/10/25. I called and spoke to Ashley who was extremely rude. She refused to answer any questions. She would only keep repeating the script like a parrot. When I requested to speak with a manger or a supervisor she hung up in my face. I do not know why DSW handles their "VIP" customers in this manner.
DO NOT GO TO HARBOUR FREIGHT. no returns on anything no money back even on new unopened items. ..this RETAIL EQUATION IS A JOKE ! home depot and lowes have never done that to me ... HARBOUR FREIGT IS TRASHH !!! BEWARE !!!
absolute garbage of a company - at a time when retail will become incredibly hard and competition for consumer dollars will be fierce, this company will massively hurt their customer business in the name of protection.
