Stayed at Glade Springs Resort 6/13-6/15/2025. First executive suite was Spruce 454. Couch was torn in multiple places, outlet covers were missing and my wife got stung 3 times by a massive Yellow Jackets nest under the stairwell landing. Moved to 413 Dogwood where the bathroom door would not close from uneven floor, the couch this time had stains all over it, and the refrigerator compressor burnt up and ruined our food. This poor place has seen better times. While it is situated in a beautiful mountain area. It is not well maintained and somebody cannot afford to manage it properly, I don't know why? The staff there do their best but there are too few of them, the rooms are not all that comfortable.,room cleaning is basic at best and I developed swollen ankles over the amount of salt in the food.
My entire family and I spent a long weekend here for my parent’s 50th wedding anniversary. The website is very misleading and there is nothing “resort” about this place. From the moment we walked into the lodging house, which is is extremely outdated, green carpeted, dirty, hardly any seating room, small kitchen with hardly any needed accessories, bugs, no air upstairs, mildew on the showers, and a staff that seemed to be bothered we were even there.
