When I was preparing to move to the Residency in 2018, I was asked, "Why are you moving to Scottsbluff, when you've lived in Colorado your entire life?" At the time, I was looking for a life-care facility that I could afford and wouldn't have to relocate numerous times. I had researched the Denver area and the front range, but nothing was satisfactory or affordable. I really enjoy living at The Residency. I no longer have the responsibility of a house and yard, and my kids don't have to worry about me out scooping snow or lifting something I shouldn't. I no longer have the main risks of falling or hurting myself. I'm in a safe and secure environment. I don't have to cook or clean and have lots of friends to do fun stuff with. You can be as involved, or as private as you wish to be. How much better does it get!

My husband and I love living at the Residency! I had 80 new friends the day I moved in, or maybe more. I love not shopping, cooking. I love not cleaning my apartment. We eat in the dining room every evening, and that is our favorite part of the day. We eat with different people every night, and have gotten to know so many people.

We had talked about down sizing for several months. After attending an open house at the Residency, we made the decision to move here. We enjoy dining with our new friends. This was a great decision. Life is easier here with meals prepared for us, no yard work. We were able to bring our small dogs!

This place is very unprofessional and they like to violate your civil rights saying that if you are a Spanish speaking person you may no longer speak it because other people do not understand it that is taking away freedom of speech regardless if you don’t understand what is being said it doesn’t not mean you can take away a civil right of speaking your mind or any language maybe the bosses need to stop racially profiling some one as they should be professional In there job
