From the minute I called The Residence at Voorhees and spoke to Josephine our experience has been an excellent one! Josephine is one of the Directors who sat with us and made our decision easier to have our mom cared for by this amazing assisted living facility. She is in a league of her own - so professional and such a kind and compassionate person. We have had such a great experience mostly because of the employees. Great team and even better management- would certainly recommend to those in need.
Unfortunately my aunt was unable to live here as she passed away while we were making arrangements. I can say though that our interactions with the staff and community were amazing. They were supportive, lovely, welcoming and very friendly. I know my aunt would have loved it here. Thank you Josephine and Janet and everyone who helped us along the way.
The Residence took such great care of my dad. The staff is so kind, caring, and attentive. The environment is welcoming and warm. It is always nicely decorated, clean, and feels like home. They plan wonderful activities for the residents and are very inclusive of family and friends who come to visit. We are so glad that Dad found a home there. Our only regret is that he didn't move in sooner.
My mother has lived here for two years, and our experience has been very positive. The community offers a warm, homey environment that makes residents feel comfortable and welcome. The activities team is outstanding—Larry keeps residents engaged and laughing, and Jeanelle genuinely cares about the residents, thoughtfully tailoring activities to ensure everyone stays active and involved.
