Horrible Experience. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY!!! Paid for shipping both ways; the repair fee; and still could not correct my issue. The "warranty they offer" does not pay for their errors or shipping; therefore I had to pay MORE SHIPPING COSTS. The control board had exactly the same problem as it had prior to spending several hundred dollars with no fix. AVOID THIS PLACE!!

They repaired the relay board on my 16 year old Jenn Air double oven. The first attempt did not fix the board because they did not have the equipment to test it. I had to send both the relay board and the oven front panel to them for full testing. The second time was the charm. Overall their communication was great. The only problem that I had was when they were sending the board back. They completed the repair on a Monday but their system never showed that it was shipped. I called on Thursday and they said I should be getti... read more

These folks are phenomenal. In spite of the Covid19 pandemic they still had a decent turnaround time on my oven control panel repair. In addition, I didn't have much hope for a repair on a twenty-seven year old stove. Eureka, they did it. They said they could repair anything and I am a believer. The cost of repair and return coverage was a pittance compared to having to fork out a $1000+ for a new stove. Kudos to the team at The Repair Shack.

Business response:

Thank you so much for the Review William!

Had a Dacor 2 bay oven go bad. E-mailed them about my control panel. Quote was for $120.00 Sent in the control board and key pad. Chris, their great technician (and all around nice guy) called me back, and asked a few questions. He told me to send in the 2 relay boards. A few days later, the panel and boards arrived, and were like new, worked perfectly, and very clean. All three and all for $120.00! I thought it would be extra, like being ripped off. Nope, these people are just the best, can't say enough! The custo... read more

Couldn't ask for a more honest or competent repair business. They listened to the details of a problem with my GE range, and determined that the main board was probably not the problem; more likely the keypad was. They even pointed me to the cheapest place on the web to buy one. Sure enough, the new keypad fixed the problem. They made no effort to get me to commit to troubleshooting much less repair of the main board. They didn't make a dime this time, but WILL get my business and that of friends in the future. Awesome exper... read more

I had an awesome experience with the Repair Shack. They not only fixed my part, but advised me how to reinstall it in my oven. Excellent customer service, and thank you Sara for all your help. You fixed my oven and saved me over $1500 from having to replace my double ovens. Can't thank you enough!!

They advertise that sell remanufactured parts. They don't. They take yours part and try to fix it. If they can't if it they say, "You can have it back for a $19 delivery fee and by the way, we are keeping $75 for looking at it." So I get no working part, I get billed $75 and, if I want the broken part back, I'm out another $19. Why are they advertising, "One left" on eBay? They have no products to sell. Deceptive at point of sale.

Business response:

We are sorry you feel that way, however it couldn't be further from the truth. There is literally nothing on our listings, our website, or really anywhere that suggests that what you are purchasing is anything other than what is written in the title itself... Repair Service. That's what do, and it's what we've done since day 1. The "only 1 left" you are referring to is actually something eBay does. We have no control or ability to turn that on or off. eBay's platform is built primarily tangible goods so much of their templat... read more

Big money saver! Helped revive an oven that we might have had to replace. So, for less than $100, we now have an oven that works just like it should! Don't doubt them. They saved us oodles of money, and we are ever so grateful.
