Boston Renfrew, you have received my email regarding your lack of knowledge, lack of concern for these beautiful girls, your constant upselling of your services, and lack of wisdom. Renfrew’s Boston site changed my life. Prior to Renfrew, I struggled deeply for 12+ years using behaviors. Since my time at Renfrew, I have been living more by my values, been happier, and making huge strides in my recovery. Renfrew is forever home to me and I feel so lucky to have had and continue to have an amazing support system there years later.
I am currently in the most stable place in my recovery thanks to the Renfrew Center of Boston. As someone who had previously spent years in and out of treatment, I had a hard time picturing myself ever being in solid, long-term recovery, but Renfrew was able to provide the support that I needed, even when it was difficult to see or accept it. I was very enthusiastic about my treatment because I really wanted to learn what a healthy eating behaviour is. I ignored most of the bad reviews because I understood that the treatment could be very triggering and cause lots of unconscious resistance. It was nice to have a group therapy here.
