My wife Tiffany was a patient at The Rehabilitation Institute of Southern Illinois for 10 days in 2026. Unfortunately, her stay was marked by disappointment and several eye-opening incidents. Upon admission, I was concerned that no transportation was provided, forcing me to transport my non-mobile wife myself from the hospital to The Rehabilitation Institute of Southern Illinois. Everyone in the rehab group showed much concern all of the time for how I was doing and always asked if there was anything else they could do to make my stay more comfortable. They made the experience very pleasant. Meals were on time. The cafeteria had excellent meals for family members at lunchtime, and the food cost was minimal. Congratulations to everyone involved.
The therapists were super. Could not have asked for better a strong five logan and tears were great! The techs took there time answering the call button, some were great others not soo much. The techs need a place to gather not outside a patient s room.
I couldn't be any more impressed with the rehab center far exceeded my expectations every person I dealt with was professional and friendly and they totally took care of all my needs
My mother had a two week stay there and I would say we were very impressed. The facilities themselves are fantastic. I toured multiple in the metro area and this is BY FAR the cleanest, nicest, newest and most comfortable arrangement of any I had seen. The PT room is outfitted with just about everything you can imagine, including bedroom, kitchen and even a car set-up to imitate real life scenarios.
