Everything Joshua & Kaitlin Chmil and Leo Boyton have said is verbatim to what I am going through.... work began on my home October 1, 2018 and even though they are paid in full, the work is still not finished. Chris Gash wrote a very amateurish contract, made all the promises, set up all the work to be done, hired the contractors and collected my checks which were written out to Craven Construction... nothing has Chris Gash's name on it so he is able to continue "ripping people off". Update: Leaving an honest review of my very costly experience earned me a cease and desist letter. As of today the only positive reviews I have heard/read are from other realtors. Everything Chris's recommended contractors touched in my home is falling apart. For us, every single promise listed on his website was a lie including his history and relationship with the contractor he brought in. It feels like 90% of our free time is now spent fixing the mess he put us in and our waste of $65,000 (so far). We are going to be payi... read more
Worst experience possible. Chris brought in contractors that destroyed our home and has left us with costly legal action against the contractors and sub-contractors. Unlicensed and non-permitted work was done to our home and the 203k contract was never fulfilled to completion. There are a laundry list of things Chris "can do" for you, but he never signs a contract with you so that when he doesn't come through on his end of the bargain there is nothing you can do about it.
