I met with Karen Malekos-Smith the Community Sales Director about the Atria facility at Foster Square. My elderly Mom is not quite ready to transition to an assisted living facility, but I was very impressed with Karen and her knowledge, service and professionalism. I look forward to her touring the facility with Karen when she is ready.
The Atria Park of St. Joseph’s community is amazing! Chelsea the Director of wellness truly cares about the residents and acts quickly to address their needs. There Activities Department has so many fantastic ideas to keep the residents engaged, especially during this very difficult time. Frances, the communities Executive Director is the glue that keeps it all together!
I had such a wonderful day today! Had lunch and dinner in the dining room today. The dining room looked so beautiful with a fresh coat of paint! The food was delicious! It was so good to eat with friends!
I have been working with Amy McCauley for a while now and she has been fantastic! I would recommend. Everyone in her community seems very warm and kind and the grounds are very nice, and they have awesome Koi Ponds! If they have Amy there, then I know I can trust them with my family. Amy McCauley the community sales director has shown to me to be a person to be very dedicated to helping others. This is definitely the kind of community one should move to!
I no longer recommend Atria Park of Ann Arbor for a number of reasons. I have since moved my Mother to another assisted living community where she is now THRIVING again. During COVID19 when they would not let us visit my Mother, and they kept all residents sequestered in their rooms, they began increasing charges (By $1000 A MONTH!) because my Mother, who is on hospice and has dementia and Alzheimer’s, became severely depressed and confused on why she was not allowed out of her room. They began sedating her to the point of b... read more

My mom moved into Atria in September, 2019. She passed away last night of cancer. I can't say enough good things about the care she received. The staff has always be very caring, thoughtful, understanding and compassionate. They took the time to get to know my mom and comforted her during the beginning of her stay which was a trying time for her and they went above and beyond to make the most out of the very difficult Covid 19 lockdown. My mom developed special bonds wit… See more
I have been truly impressed by how proactive Atria is, from preparing for natural disasters to dealing with global pandemics. This is a company that yes is a business, but cares for both the residents and employees. There are such great incentives to take advantage of for the employees. The residents are engaged through out the day, evening, and yes weekends! There is clear communication with all involved, and expectations are clear. We get to put smiles on the faces of those we work with everyday, and that is the true bless... read more

Jennie, we are so very blessed to have been able to care for and love your beautiful mother. Thank you for sharing her with us. We will cherish our memories with her and Misty always! ❤️ Once you are part of our family you will ALWAYS be part of our family. Don’t be a stranger.
The food has really deteriorated. When I first moved here it was pretty good; but I now find it frequently inedible & unhealthy. However, the staff & workers are exceptional. I am considering moving. Many have moved after the huge rent increase. They are treating us with great care since COVD. It is mainly the food, which is included in our rent. Be advised if food is important to you.
