Couldn't have asked for a better experience. I had to get headshots and didnt know anybody. So glad I was recommended to Jessica. SOMEHOW she made, even me, look good in pictures!
Jessica Kaminksi is magical! I'm a woman of mature age, and I've always considered myself unphotogenic. She made me beautiful while capturing my real self. In nearly every shot. Even before any touch-ups! She focuses on a person's eyes and does amazing things with lighting, poses, and color. I also loved the spirit of easy camaraderie and joyful collaboration she spun around her, fully including the hair and make-up professionals I had arranged for. In short, Jessica has a gift for bringing out the best in people.
Amazing experience! I'm honestly not sure how to fully encapsulate my experience with Jessica. I was in need of some headshots. After searching for something nearby, I couldn't find much. So I figured a 3 hour road trip would be better. From the initial contact on the website to the day of the shoot, communication was amazing and constant. I had an INCREDIBLE time with Jessica at The Refinery Photo Studio in the heart of the Third Ward. Super easy access to the studio itself, and a gorgeous view looking out towards the city. There was a separate dressing room space with perfect natural lighting and a vanity space to touch up makeup and hair, as well as a hanging rack to go through all clothing options.
