My wife and I visited yesterday and it was an amazing experience. As a home brewer of sour and funky beers, I appreciated the dedication to lambic inspired beers and the traditional process of spontaneous beers (the undisturbed cobwebs were so satisfying to see). Meh. It is a very pretentious "brewery". I understand that ins and outs of the fermentation process. But the whole show room smells moldy and dirty. They "only use natural yeast" I mean, its not horrible, but it is definitely not my thing.
Truly exceptional libations, as well as the overall experience.
This place is great if you like funky beers. The atmosphere is relaxed, and you can bring your own food.
So happy to have time to finally visit this place. It's my new favorite beer stop. I do love wild beer and sours, so if you don't have a taste for that don't worry, they have wine too. And you might just find a beer you like. Relaxed environment with great records playing. I will be back when my to-go beers are finished! Amazing, must visit.
