Nice place, average food. The duck was overdone and was inedible. The table service was great. Staff were friendly
Nice place, average food that wasn't even warm when it was served. The duck was so overdone it was inedible. Can't get a drink as half the staff can't serve due to under-age. The table service wasnt great for the price paid. Definitely need to lift their game
We had our wedding at The Refectory in 2022, after initially booking for 2020. The team were really lovely and incredible helpful with all of the rescheduling and honouring our original contract through all of that mess, which we were so grateful for, and the day turned out absolutely beautiful. We did go through quite a few different coordinators over that time, which led to a bit of repeating details, but that's to be expected over such a long, weird time frame. Our daughter recently got married at The Refectory at Werribee Park and we honestly couldn’t have asked for a more perfect day. From the breathtaking gardens to the elegant ballroom, every part of the venue was absolutely stunning and created the most magical setting for such a special occasion. I felt sorry for lovely floor staff…I booked a high tea following webpage and apparently I should have scrolled to the bottom of the page, I took it on board the attitude of manager was appalling sending out junior staff to relay messages as the manger was going “home” and could it chat… food and beverages were “ok” save your self the trip
