A magical escape at Reef House Retreat We stayed four nights and loved every moment. The atmosphere was warm and elegant, with meaningful conversations that turned strangers into friends. This is our sixth visit and always such a relaxing and rejuvenating experience. Adults only is a real joy and we love our room. We’ve had the best sleep - so good I’ve researched where to buy the pillow! Dean is so helpful and lovely. The staff are attentive and happy to be at Reef House - nice! We will be back!

The reef house is an extraordinary property with all the character and old world charm and all the modern amenities you could desire. Situated in palm cove between cairns city and port douglas, a great base to explore the region. I was taken with the original stone floors, the beautiful pools with the classic arches and the mid century style resort bungalows. Visited Palm Cove for an anniversary celebration, had a wonderful time, the little inclusions are a nice touch with the opportunity to meet other guests if you want, otherwise just chill by the pools, ride the bikes or walk on the beach, staff were all great. If I was going to mentioning something I thought the shower/bthrm could do with an upgrade but it didn't detract from the experience at all. Food was also loverly, breakfast was huge and delicious.
