I've camped in Moab for years with my dogs, but only recently discovered Red Rock Caves. This is the best tent camping in Moab, bar none, especially as a single woman. I felt so safe, my dogs had a blast, and it was so wonderful to have the tent already set up and lay there listening to the river running by each night. My dog and I absolutely loved every second of our stay in the tents! It was so nice to be next to the river yet still feel so protected by the two security gates you have to pass through (especially as a single woman camping alone), plus the onsite wifi was truly a lifesaver! I had to cancel twice before my trip due to work, and the owner refunded my money completely both times, even over Jeep Weekend when they were fully packed! Rooms have a dank odor unless you run the room fan, which everyone does, making the outside area noisy and the rooms are very loud with the fans running. All this makes sleeping hard. A tent might have been better. Rooms were hot, even with ac and fan. A simple screen on the door would have fixed this.
We stayed in the glamping tents onsite and it was one of the best camping experiences I’ve had in 15 years of going to Moab! Prices were so reasonable for this level of accommodation! Very clean tents and bathrooms too. Staff was friendly and prompt with information. Felt safe and private. Easily accessible with my low clearance Prius. Can’t wait to come back!
Our stay in cave 6 was awesome. Orientate yourself with what to expect and if you do that you can have an awesome stay, it's glamping, not a hotel. We brought our small solar generator and had plenty of power (there is power at the caves) as well as nice large cooler bag. unlike other properties nearby there are no "quiet hours" which allowed us to have a communal fire and fun conversations with other guests into the late evening.
