This is a really cool place to stay in a beautiful setting! It's very unique being in a cave! We even saw bats at night. You could also see so many stars. This was a memorable place. It's dog friendly but you can't leave your dog there unattended. The chairs outside were nice to just enjoy the scenery at sunset! The road can get rough, we were happy to have four wheel drive, but it sure is a beautiful drive! The AC unit seems old so it always seemed a bit stuffy. The fan and candle was helpful! It’s hard to even write a review you just have to come see it for yourself. I signed up for regular camping but when I saw the glamping set-up I switched. There is literally something for everyone here. The property is HUGE and so private with multiple fences for privacy and security on the way in. It is so beautiful and the hosts are incredibly nice people. I was so comfortable and I would recommend splurging on a cave or glamping tent. Everything is so nice and worth every penny!
It felt very privileged to drive the private scenic road with Colorado river view and also overall it was definitely one of the most unique and special experiences. We had a good time watching the milky way from our room. However I can’t recommend this place to my friends because we had A LOT of camel crickets waiting for us by the time we went back from late evening tracking - more than 10 including the ones right on top of the bed and I didn’t even take photos… I know they live in caves but facing them after long hiking wa... read more
