If you're only Autistic or only on the Autism Spectrum, you will get help at the Redpath Centre. However, if you're complex, having other comorbid diagnoses/features, you're out of luck here. On my fourth time he told me to come back when I had my emotions under control and after I had moved (from a living condition that was contributing to my meltdowns.) Dr. Stoddart, Director of the Redpath Centre is an accomplished clinician, capable therapist, and kind man. The centre offers many services with competent staff. Clean environment, comfortable, and quiet
Redpath Centre has been a sanctuary for me and my son. Progress takes time and I have seen real progress with my son. Dr. Stoddart is very insightful, understands the challenges very well and provide practicial solutions
The Redpath Centre had been recommended by my Godmother whom is a retired educator for those with special needs. I found their services professional, helpful and informative over the two-and-a-half years I had visited with the therapist and a member of my family.
My experience with Kevin Stoddart ended up with my having to launch a formal complaint, something I had never done before or since. My son and I both ended up needlessly suffering owing to Mr Stoddart’s “help”. I would strongly caution parents to look elsewhere for help, especially mothers with a difficult or abusive co-parent.
