For those of you who may be dealing with addiction, mine was alcohol. I prayed over this before committing. I tried the Roswell location first, drove myself and left the next day. Recently went to south Atlanta. Man what a difference, 1,000% recommend. My mind set has changed. They guide u not judge u. Met some people that changed me aswell. Please dont be ashamed! I was. .. then I found hope and purpose. Thank u recovery village south Atlanta! Oh BTW they offer Uber, no excuses.
The groups were actually small so that everyone can get a chance to say what’s on their mind (if they choose to) and almost everyone got along really well. Shout out to Alex the BHT, Alexandria the therapist, Tracy the BHT, Denisha the case manager, Nadine the NP, the kitchen staff, and all the boiz, Topaz, Jeff, Caleb, And vanilla ice. Yall made the experience so much better 👍💯
They were very helpful in my detox, but the first day I had to withdraw on my own because I didn’t get meds till the third day because they messed up paperwork or something. Also, when I was released, they messed up my meds and I’ve called multiple time trying to get paperwork done and haven’t received a call back and this is for my leave of absence from work which protects my job. Overall my experience at RVSA was very pleasant. First off the food was consistently excellent so that was a huge win in my book. The majority of the BHT’s were all very kind, respectful, and generally helpful with whatever I needed. Nursing was also great! The NP’s and nurses were all very kind and super helpful with making sure I understood my medications and how they work. The group and individual therapy were also great!
