I had my truck at two other local shops and they couldn't find where the clunk noise in my rear differential was coming from. I took it to The Rear End Shop in Santa Rosa. They put it up on a hoist checked it out and with in a few minutes they knew what was wrong. I thought I was in for a very expressive repair but as it turns out all that was wrong was that the bolts that hold the rear end to the springs had worked there way loose.
