Absolutely fabulous! The owners put thought into every detail of these beautiful “shacks”. Don’t be fooled by the name. I felt like I was in a 5 star resort! Such beautiful furnishings and designer touches. All are in a GREAT location so close to the beach and all the fun that Folly has to offer. We will be back!!
My husband and I celebrated our 10 year anniversary on Folly Beach, the place we spent many days 15 years ago. The Rathershacks were perfect for us and had everything we needed. We rented bikes for the day from Matthew from Cool Breeze as suggested and he was such a cool, kind guy. He let us keep the bikes for an extra day at no charge. Overall just a relaxing spot with pleasant people. Can’t wait to come back with our kids!
I would highly recommend staying at one of Sam’s places. He’s a great guy to work with in finding a place and we enjoyed our stay at Folly Beach.

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay in The Hippie Shack this week! It contained everything we needed for a relaxing much needed getaway. Was within easy walking distance to downtown and the beach. Will definitely be back!!
