The Ransome Inn Circa 1868, this cedar-clapboard covered, side-gables house began as a simple Cape Cod with a central-front entry-way with windows placed symmetrically on either side. Over the years, a front porch was added as were dormers on both the front and back. Recently a two story addition on the west side of the house gave an extra room to each floor. When we arrived he showed us our lodging which was all one could ask for. A wonderful room with all the accommodations one would need. Lovely kitchenette fully furnished. Lovely sitting area with very comfortable sofas. Great bedroom area. It was private and peaceful. The garden area was spectacular with beautiful flowers and lovely landscaping.
