Avoid. Just avoid! We were grateful when Jay (John) Baksa of Ranch on 6 appeared at our gates offering a free mow of our newly bought castle on Highway 6. He had his whole crew out who spent sunup to sundown clearing the overgrowth on the property. My husband genuinely liked Jay and we were both very appreciative. Of course, he knew what we knew - the grounds and pool along with the entire house would need an enormous amount of expensive work. Avoid this company at all costs! Jay is a scam artist. We hired him to cut down various trees, and to make changes at the back to take water away from the crawl space. He has left the grounds in an absolute mess. Both the front and the back is destroyed with tractor marks, the crawl space work he did has made things much worse and the trees were never cut down. Adding to that, he never paid his employees for any of the work that they did here. Thinking we could trust him, we paid him in advance for trees. But he will not giv... read more
