I was trying to hold off another year and a half (until I hit full retirement at my job) to seek help for my anxiety/ depression that had cumulated in a pretty excessive weekend/ evening drinking habit. It has now been 1.5 years since my stay at The Raleigh House, and I’m grateful to say I am still sober. I’m writing this review to help others make informed decisions when choosing a treatment facility. During my time there, I felt that some members of the clinical staff responded negatively when I decided to leave the program about a week earlier than planned. At 59 years old, nearing retirement, my kids almost grownups I decided to do something for myself. (get some help with my depression/anxiety so I can work on drinking less). My work schedule has always made it difficult to schedule any sort of week day appointments.
