I want to be fair in this review because she reports that her overall experience was okay and that there were aspects of the program that were genuinely helpful to her. It has now been 20 months since my stay at The Raleigh House, and I’m grateful to say I am still sober. I’m writing this review to help others make informed decisions when choosing a treatment facility. During my time there, I felt that some members of the clinical staff responded negatively when I decided to leave the program about a week earlier than planned. The Raleigh House Ranch in Watkins, CO helped me change my life for the better. On my very first call, intake coordinator Alexis convinced me that I would thrive and within the community. She was absolutely right and I am so glad I walked through those doors to receive the help they offered. Clinic Director, Ann provided EMDR intensives as well as acupuncture to reprocess both childhood and medical trauma. I became a Raleigh House patient in late 2021 and I stayed for two months. During my time at the ranch, I learned many things and while the educational content was focused more on drug and alcohol abuse treatment, I was able to find a way to apply the information to my situation. One of the things that I found relaxing was sitting outside to read or just soak in the silence and the view of the Rocky Mountains and foothills.
