I toured with Ajay L. a few weeks ago and immediately felt welcome! He took the time to show me all the different room options and made sure I understood the differences between them. He was incredibly personable and made the tour feel relaxed and informative from start to finish. Ajay answered all of my questions with patience and kindness, and I never felt rushed. Part 1: I would NOT consider The Rails for your rental home. In the 8 months that we held a lease at this property there was a multitude of issues. In no specific order or severity they are as follows: Lack or plowing during the winter which leads to the inability to see reserved space numbers, which left visitors unaware of unmarked reserved parking to have their vehicles towed. Update to Ajays gaslighting and dishonest response. In the past I did not know where that door outside my former apt's window led to, but I know that the maintenance man, demeitrus, came out of that door (photo of it attached to the updated review) when he peeped into my apartment when undressed. To clarify, i have added a screenshot that clearly shows the door he came out of and lack of shades opacity/privacy, since they want to lie about how my claim does not align with building layout. I’ve lived here long enough to see both the positives and the negatives, so I wanted to leave an honest review. Yes, the walls are on the thinner side, so if you have a loud neighbor, you’ll probably hear them. No, the parking is not nearly as bad as some reviews make it out to be, although it can definitely get more challenging in the winter—just like anywhere else in Buffalo.
