Last week, I called to make an appointment because i was in a lot of pain. A person answered the phone and already seemed very methodical. I gave the information on my orders, and my insurance info. They proceeded to give me the insurance speech, which I totally understand. (We do not guarantee insurance payouts for services...etc etc) However, I had 2 questions: Are they able to tell if my insurance needs preapproval & are they going to get it for me? I went to Germantown Radiology Clinic today and I want to say how thrilled I was to see a young man (front desk staff) cleaning and wiping down the chairs and doors in the lobby. I watched him clean all the pens. I have never seen anyone in an office do that before. The staff at Germantown are friendly and knowledgeable. When I need ANY study or scan, I go to Germantown Radiology Clinic. There are other options but it’s GRC for me.
Poor experience. Double standard in terms of showing up for your appointment on time and being seen on time.

The scheduling process was quick and efficient. To protect their identities, I worked with two people in preparation for the PET Scan I needed. The woman who walked me through the prep process and scheduling (over the phone) was so kind, accomodating and helpful. The man who actually facilitated the PET Scan was friendly, upbeat and reassuring. He was thorough in checking on me every 15 minutes, and totally put me at ease through it all.
