We adopted our small dog, Trixie, a year ago and she has terrible anxiety. She can't make it through a groom or nail trim. Kara came recommended by our groomer as someone who could possibly help. We had our first visit yesterday and she was able to do more than I anticipated. She stays very level emotionally, I'm sure because the animals can sense changes. First timer: I just had my 2 matted Cavapoos groomed at Purrfect Paws by owner, Kara. She is certified to work with animals who are reactive/fearful. That was very important to me. My dogs looked so good when I picked them up plus they were happy. Kara is personable, knowledgeable and willing to give suggestions. I am so happy to have read reviews about her which led to the appointment. Thank you, Kara.
Always a pleasure and dog is very happy
Each of my dogs have their own unique challenges with grooming. I have been so happy to find Kara! As a Fear Free groomer she understands how to work within their limits. Gryff, my 9 pound poodle mix is particularly fearful and can be aggressive.Kara has been patient with him and has been more successful with Gryff than any groomer in the past. Roxie, my Standard Poodle, always comes away looking great! I appreciate Kara very much!
