My experience with KKJ was deeply concerning. The evaluation process involved unexplained delays that my personal therapist noted were highly unusual. I sought services for my LGBTQ+ daughter expecting evidence-based, affirming care. Unfortunately, that was not our experience. I retained KKJ to perform a custody evaluation. I experienced problems with their handling of evidence, inconsistent weighting of information, and evaluator bias. I am deeply concerned because the evaluation by KKJ creates additional barriers for addressing my children’s most basic needs—safety and security.
