The meat is very good. I would give it a 5 if it weren't for the extra cakey cornbread. It really fell apart and is too soft. Try doing it in a proper cast iron skillet to give it both a better texture and a functional foundation in the hand.
Absolutely incredible food. The corn bread is god tier and comes with whipped cinnamon butter. The peach bbq sauce is amazing. It’s a bit pricey ($41 for a 2 meat 2 side combo + 12oz drink) but the portions are MASSIVE. Easily 2 meals worth of food. 3 if you’re a light eater. 10/10 will come back.
Had really high hopes for TPP, but it just missed every mark for me! Having been to a lot of BBQ joints across the South and locally in Massachusetts I have my expectations set pretty high. BBQ is known for slow smoked, fall of the bone ribs and melt in your mouth pulled pork. TPP just wasn't it, it needs some serious improvement to be considered true Texas BBQ. Limited Seating as well.
Had my hopes up but its not traditional bbq. The mac and cheese was very bad the texture was all like small cheese curd. And the sausage was def not smoked like tradition texas bbq. If your looking for texas style bbq this is not the place.
