I have been a loyal customer with this business for several years. I usually go to the flea market in baltimore to purchase but i recently heard they closed there so i decided to order online. I placed the order on nov. 10th. It is now December 5th and i still have not received a tracking number yet. I have reached out multiple times via email and their instagram with no response. So basically they just took my money! This is ridiculous and i am sad to see how bad their business have went down…
The business was very well managed for years with excellent service and products. When I didn't receive my last order I paid for and did not get any communication, I knew something was wrong as this was not the norm. Sadly I learned the owner had passed away. Someone was trying to manage the remaining orders but did not seem to be able to manage. I'm sure it was not an easy task in the wake of a lost loved one and unexpected take on of responsibilities. There is no business without him. Prayers up for all.
I have bought their products for years. Last time I ordered was November 2023. It took a while to arrive. I have tried to order again but all the products say out of stock. Usually you can contact The Soap Man through IG but he's limited his comments and you can't talk to him. I hope all is well. The Detroit store closed so now I don't know where I'll get my Shea butter.
