Been going for years, since I was a child myself, but since new ownership things feel more like a cash grab. Was especially disappointed to see and hear multiple uses of AI - their printed menu boards, entrance guide, and even a song just listing the things to do and eat. If I paid $75 for my family of six to get in, why am I hearing AI slop ads of more ways to spend my money? A bit pricey.. but the kids has a blast. Lots of nostalgia of 90s pumpkin patch, barn to shop in was disappointing. Apple cider donuts were surprisingly delicious.
Now charging $12 a person. The pulled pork tasted like it was the ready made meals and cost $7. My wife couldn't eat it. They don't have as many and males anymore. Once they put an admission on there, it set the bar for at least a $12 experience. We did not get that. Great for kids under 6 though. Personally, I'd rather take my kid to Little America in Marshall, WI. They have train rides, pumpkins, and rides.
Our kids had a blast. The only complaint we had was in the area where the ponies were at was like a mud field where they had to continuously walk. If they could have dropped some hay or something to add traction and help keep them from sinking that might have helped. We felt bad for the horses sinking 6 inches into mud while walking. They would stop walking almost every time around and the poor employee would have to drag them out of the mud.
