Stayed a couple nights here while working locally. It was a great find. It's an old hotel, tastefully renovated and marketed as a boutique. They've done a good job of emphasising the inherent class of the establishment. The Lola suite is spacious, nicely decorated and sports a modern bathroom. The location is adjacent to Ballarat train station; handy I'm sure but also a touch noisy. A go to place when staying in Ballarat. Walking distance to cafes, shops, restaurants, Her Majesty’s Theatre & more. Clean, very well presented and a variety of rooms. Meals at the restaurant have always been great.

We stayed in the one-bedroom apartment with a spa. The room was very cozy, with a fantastic blend of old-school charm and modern updates, providing a very warm and comfortable place to go back to in the evening. The staff were super friendly, both on the phone and in person, which made the stay even better. We also appreciated that the parking was secure and the location was only a short walk to the center. Highly recommend!
