I hired Marie for my husbands birthday last night. We had the best experience! She arrived on time and the courses were served based on the flow of the night. She cooked and cleaned everything, I did not have to think twice about anything! We were able to unwind and enjoy the night. Marie was personable and accommodated the food allergies we had in our party with ease and acceptance. I recommend Marie to anyone who wants to enjoy a good night with great food!! We recently threw a fantastic, elegant surprise birthday party with 34 guests in our backyard in Bergen County, and Chef Marie made it an event to remember. I hired Marie to cook a surprise birthday dinner for my girlfriend and she was incredible. Every course she served was outstanding and watching her cook was such a treat. Marie is so personable and truly made this an unforgettable experience.
We had a family dinner for my wife’s birthday with 14 people. Chef Marie was so easy to work with and she put together a delicious menu. Everyone loved the food and really appreciated that Chef Marie explained each course. Francesca and Patty were so polite and helpful. We didn’t step in the kitchen but rather just sat and enjoyed appetizers, dinner and desert. Everything was cleaned up at the end of the night. It was spectacular!
I wish I could give them more than 5 stars. My caterer cancelled two days before Mothers Day so I reached out to out to Proper Palate and not only were they were able to adjust their schedule to fit us in, but they tailored the menu to exactly what we wanted. The customer service was incredible and the food was amazing. I will definitely be using them again!
