I had the BEST experience at The Proper Beauty Bar! I HIGHLY recommend. I got my makeup done for mommy and me photos and I absolutely loved it! Natalie was so professional and so friendly. She makes you feel so comfortable and is truly amazing at what she does!! She is very detail oriented and is so passionate about her work. The studio is extremely clean and everything in her kit is sanitized. I will definitely be getting my makeup done here again.
I was in San Diego for my stepson’s wedding, and was looking for a salon to do my hair and makeup for that day. I found The Proper Beauty Bar and booked online with Claudia. Claudia is an artist with her work. My makeup was flawless all day, and my hair stayed up all day! She added some clip-in extensions that I brought to give me enough volume to have a nice bun. I was thrilled with her work! Don’t hesitate to book Claudia. She is amazing!
Natalie did my makeup for my wedding, she did an amazing job! She is extremely sweet and has a calming personality on your wedding day when emotions and nerves are high. The makeup lasted all night long and I have never felt more beautiful. She truly is an artist. I wish she could do my makeup everyday!
I used Natalie for my bridal makeup and she was amazing. She nailed the look that I was after which was soft and natural and I felt so pretty on my wedding day. I also used Amber from the Proper Beauty Bar as my hairstylist and my hair was perfect. I originally did a trial very early on of a hairstyle that I loved, but as it got closer to my wedding I changed my mind and wanted to try soft waves instead and Amber killed it. Makeup was beautiful, the attention to detail was spectacular, a true artist. Received compliments all night long. Make up lasted 12+ hours. LOVED it. Definitely recommend!!
