$85,000! I was sweating bullets after I found out that my loan modification was going to cost me $85,000 in taxes! That's right, $85,000! Thanks to Gil, it wasn't a problem. He made it go away...legally. He is practically a magician. Everyone is great over there! But for me, what makes them stand out far above the rest is their expertise. What Mike C. said....yeah thats it! We randomly searched Yelp for tax preparers in San Diego and came across Mike C's review. Sounded too good to be true so we decided to bite. Good thing...Gil Martinez is the sheeeit! He really DOES know what he's doing and the best part about him is that he is STRAIGHT UP! So... this is for those of you out there paralyzed by some tax problem you think is insurmountable, unsolvable, ...ineffable? (Never really knew what that word meant.) Gil did a great job for us, fixing several years of problematic returns in very short order, and he did it with style.
He does a lot more than taxes; even has a construction company. But since I'll I've used are his tax prep services, that's all I can talk about.
Sensible, level-headed, meticulous... fascinating?! When's the last time you heard THAT about your accountant? But true enough, Gil is both a great tax guy AND a fount of knowledge, some of which goes way beyond the usual "federal & state". His office is set up so that as he works on your return, you can see exactly what he's doing on a monitor facing your direction.
