I’m stuck with these guys because my company’s 401k is through them. They are absolutely terrible though. The website has been down for months, so I can’t change my 401k contribution percent or anything. Nobody answers the phone if you try to call customer service. I don’t recommend them to anybody who actually has a choice and I’m really hoping my company finds somebody else to move their 401k program over to because this is absolutely ridiculous!
I understand why Principal’s rating is low, and am surprised it’s not lower. As a whole, insurance companies having record profits while denying claims is a despicable practice. I absolutely despise this site for my 401K almost every week I have to call customer service to get into my account because it says Username or Password is wrong an I when I speak with an agent they tell me my account has been unlocked an now I can log in an I do so with the same Username and Password next week the same thing!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Rude rude rude - they get very upset when you want to move YOUR money out and want you to agree to false, inaccurate statements. Literally talking over me, getting upset I refuse to agree to her false statements to continue. She has put me on hell hold, because she’s mad I’ve had to correct her false statements.
