I love living here! TodayI slept in a bit while Annie did an excellent job of cleaning my apartment. Then I spent time at the pool, attended a drawing class taught by HJ, worked on a couple of hobbies, and visited with many friends. I enjoyed Orange Salad and Italian Wedding soup for lunch. My dinner was a Korean Beef stir fry prepared and served by our professional kitchen staff.

The gratefulness I have to the Preston is difficult to put into words, but I want anyone who is considering moving themselves or their family to know that this is a truly unique place full of people who have genuine care in their hearts. Finding the right place for my father’s final season was difficult. He absolutely hated the lack of privacy and control that he experienced while staying a Christian nonprofit assisted living facility in town. I did a tour on Monday, February 16th, 2026. Katherine was very gracious, answered all my questions and did not make me feel rushed, but made me feel important and like I was welcome. She told me the story behind The Preston, who the owners are, why it was created and the theme throughout the building. They pretty much have everything you could want to be able to retire in luxury. While the exterior of this property suggests a luxury experience, the Internal Operations are Deeply Concerning. There is a Persistent and Visible Lack of Professional Conduct among the Staff, including multiple instances where employees appeared Visibly Impaired and Unfit for Duty during business hours. ​Beyond the front-line staff, there is a systemic issue with LEADERSHIP.
