From the moment we walked through the front door and met with La'Kia to tour the facility, we knew The Preston Health Center was the place for my mother to get the best possible care she needed for rehab and recovery from a stroke. The room was beautiful. The facility is clean, quiet, and inviting. And according to mom, the food was great too! If I can save one person who doesn’t live in Cypress from this facility… my mom was there earlier this year. Her treatment was nothing short of inhumane. I kept trying to get help from Therapy staff as that’s why she was there and they were great. Unbeknownst to me- they are not employees but contracted so my concerns should have been brought up to Director/Admin. My mom was ignored, told to urinate “ in her diaper “ for 5 days before the OT ( who was furious) posted a sign. It was a 2 person job to get her to toilet and I w... read more
My mom is being discharged tomorrow after probably six weeks. Nothing but really good things to say about the entire operation. It is a clean facility, it is very well staffed , (which is challenging in the HH area), and the staff seems to be very happy to work there, which says a lot about the management, everybody was professional and friendly without exception.
