I dropped off my 770 for a problem which is covered under warranty. I also had them add the free update and paid for the upGRADE. I asked them to install each if there is no charge to do so. I was told there is no charge to install either. I should have a zero balance because the problem is a warranty issue. I was told I have a $50 balance. I asked what the $50 is for and was told it's for installing the update. I told her I was told the update is FREE. I'm a long time owner of Bernina products and I know the update is FREE!... read more
