The food was great, the self serve taps really good and the staff is amazing. We visited this place several times during our stay and loved it.
What a fantastic surprise! I was driving back from Crazy Horse Memorial knowing that I needed to find a place for a nourishing meal before heading deep into the Black Hills for the evening. Veronica welcomed me with open arms and I felt like I was in a place I had been to a million times even though this is my first visit. We’re a band from Minnesota and a gig fell through 24 hours before we were to play. The Prairie Dog Taproom took us in on 24 hour notice and we were happy to just have a place to go. However when we got there we were absolutely blown away! The staff were amazing and the food was incredible. Pizza made fresh from scratch and the burger was excellent. Honestly one of the best parts of our vacation in the Black Hills. The food is great, the service and atmosphere is even better. Great selection of tasty beers, hard ciders, and wine. We enjoyed it so much we went out of our way to go back a second time. Although we weren't visiting during a performance, they have bands performing regularly. Yard, board, arcade, and bar games abound make it feel like a gathering of family and friends.
