I wish I could give power of speech 10/5 stars! My daughter started with their therapists at ~2 years old when she was tracking behind in her speech and language development. We struggled to get her engaging and repeating us at home and were at a loss with how to help her. Within a few weeks of starting therapy, we started to see improvements, and within 1-2 months her language started exploding and it’s just grown and grown since. Power of Speech has been transformative for both of my children. We always leave each session with concrete tools and skills to practice at home, and the work feels deeply therapeutic — supporting emotional awareness, self-regulation, communication, and so much more. Whenever we feel “stuck,” Liz or Jessica respond right away with thoughtful, creative ideas to help us navigate. They truly meet my children exactly where they are. I cannot say enough good things about this team.
My 3.5 year old son started with speech therapy at the Power of Speech in August. Through Sarah's patience, knowledge, and ability to connect- she has helped my son feel comfortable and have fun while learning. Not only does she support my son, she helps educate me with how I can continue his speech practice at home. Our 2->3 year old worked with the talented staff at power of speech for language disfluency (stutter). He graduated, mastering his stutter, gaining confidence, and the tools to speak clearly and confidently. He had a blast while doing it. Can’t recommend Jess and her team highly enough!
Power of Speech has the best environment, and the staff is just always positive. Sarah has been amazing working with our son on speech.. He is always excited for his sessions and continues to grow and develop from them. As parents, we just want to make sure our child has the right place to thrive, and that is what Jessica's team has done.
