Currently at The Post in Pasadena. The space feels nice and cool inside, which makes a difference when you’re moving around. It looks fairly clean and there’s a good amount of people here without it feeling overcrowded. The layout is three stories. The second level is for rock climbing, the third level is a gym, and there’s a lower level as well. It feels open and active. If you’re looking for a solid place to climb and get a workout in, this is a good option. Not a critic, just sharing how it felt.
Great place
Got there last Saturday morning with 3 more people. We went at opening time with the hope to beat the crowds. Parking lot was full. Walked in at 10:05 and had about 20 people in line ahead of us vs 2 guys working the counter. We paid to get in and asked for a top-rope belay test. One guy said it will be at least 30 minutes before he can test us. Second guy said he's not even officially working, just helping the other guy. Both were short with us and rude. This past weekend, I had a traumatic experience at this location with an employee named I believe Alfonzo. My friend and I had surprised another friend with a beginners class for her birthday, and we were set up with Alfonzo, a shorter, bald man who seemed stressed and frustrated from the start.
