Very disappointing experience. We were told our toddler couldn’t be seated because he wasn’t wearing shoes, even though we were eating on the outdoor patio. We were told it was “Florida law,” but that’s not accurate it’s a restaurant policy, not a state law. As a result, our party of eight took our business elsewhere and spent around $400 at Harry’s down the street, where we had excellent service. No hard feelings, but we won’t be returning. Everything was perfect! The food, the atmosphere, the staff. My wife had the fillet and I had the salmon. Both were cooked to perfection, and I have to say it was the most delicious salmon I have ever had. Our waiter was Tyler. He was exceptional!! I couldn’t have asked for better service.

This was honestly the best steak I’ve had in a long time living in the US. Real, high quality food, not that “plastic” rubbery texture, cooked to a perfect medium. That kind of quality is genuinely hard to find here. The mashed potatoes and asparagus on the side were just as good, which is also rare to come by in the US. We were down on Anna Maria Island for the 4th of July weekend to celebrate our anniversary, so we wanted to try a locally-owned restaurant. The Porch opens at 4 pm for dinner so we arrived at 5pm but the place was already packed! The food and service did not disappoint! From the appetizer to the salad; and entree to the homemade key lime pie, everything was delicious! Grouper, pork chops and the ribeye were on point. This is a must visit if you are on the island!
