my wife and i came in for some lunch, I ordered the oysters on the half shell, when ordering I explained to the waiter I wanted nice size oysters, my wife ordered some that were small due to being from a certain area. When they came out, mine were the same size as my wife's, 'roughy the size of my thumb nail". When I mentioned it to the server he tried to tell me they were all small and the same size at all restaurants. Favorite haunt. Been coming here since back in the day (A W Shucks) Great raw bar, Scotty was an excellent shucker and very informative on selections. The bacon wrapped, crab meat stuffed shrimp are delicious as well as the sesame seared tuna
What a great team to work with! The Porch is laid back and exactly the best venue for any type of celebration. Jaclyn and Kate plus the servers made sure everything was in order....even last minute additions. The servers kept the food and drinks flowing and kept the area clean If you are looking for a great place to host a gathering and the best team to work with, be sure to choose the Porch.
First time here. Special thank you to Tori our waitress. She is awesome!!!!! Must try the green fried tomatoes.
